The thrill of victory has been cooled somewhat by the agony of "the feet". Coming off of last night's dominant 4-1 victory over New Jersey the Flyers got the news that both Simon Gagne and Jeff Carter will be out atleast for tomorrows game 5 with foot injuries. Replacing them in the lineup will be Ville Leino and David Laliberte.
Carter, coming off of his 2 goal performance last night will undoubtedly be missed, Gagne, however has been less than spectacular, but still there is a dropoff in talent that the Flyers must compensate for come thursday night.
Given what this team has shown against the Devils this season don't be surprised if they do just that.
I never liked Gagne, he's like Forsberg in the "Mr. Glass" sense... Carter however... ew... That's gonna hurt.
